Helping leaders make better decisions and solve problems

The Core Principles

1. IT’S BETTER TO GET STARTED THAN TO BE PERFECT

Another way to say this is “the perfect is the enemy of the good”. We can spend months overanalyzing and debating what a perfect solution could be... or we can get started and learn fast.

2. DON’T RELY ON CREATIVITY

We use a robust, repeatable process to foster collaboration and creativity. This ensures that everyone contributes ideas in an intense, fun and satisfying way of working—whether it’s in-person or remote.

3. WE WORK TOGETHER, ALONE

We work as a group towards a common goal. But there will be no groupthink or circular discussions. We work in a way that allows everyone to contribute ideas and voice their opinion, either on location or remotely.

4. MINIMIZE DISCUSSIONS

Instead of going around in endless, circular discussions without making progress, the workshop structures conversations, aligns people from different parts of your business and focuses them around tangible solutions to your challenges.

5. NO DISTRACTIONS, BUT FOCUSED WORK

Calls, emails, meetings—life is filled with things that distract us from making deliberate and impactful decisions. In the Retreat, we fully dedicate our attention to the challenges we are solving to make the best use of our time.
